Andrea Cadioli
Designer
Born in Italy, Andrea started off his career as a musician and television presenter for EMI and MTV. He moved to Beijing to complete his master studies with a double degree program, a partnership between Polytechnic of Turin and Tsinghua University. In 2016, he was a recipient of the European Union Scholarship for the Master program of Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). His master thesis won the SCI-Arc Thesis Award, and within the same year, he became the 2018 Alpha Rho Chi medal recipient. His work has been exhibited in Hauser & Wirth, MOCA, and Venice Biennale. Since joining BA in 2020, he enjoys applying his knowledge and experience on multi-faceted projects.
Once one gets to know Andrea, he will without hesitance offer up, “Yes, I’m Italian, and no, I don’t cook pasta well.”
